Its not fair!

A little something to share. Calvin and Hobbes. A cute comic strip which I saw while surfing the net. Especially like the middle one where the father says this 'The world isn't fair, Calvin'. How true is that? However, most people won't care that the world is not fair. It doesn't matter. People are like Calvin when he says 'I know. But why isn't it ever unfair in my favour?' Makes me think of the health science faculty friends...

'why can't we(medic and dental students) have 2 months' holiday? You guys(health science) can,'
'ITS NOT FAIR!!!'

Unfair?
Sigh...
2 months "Holiday"...

but we have 8 weeks of Industrial Training during this so called "holiday"...my course have 9 weeks this time..
weekdays 8am - 5pm (some even have to work on saturdays)

a student in campus can ponteng class, take afternoon naps, etc

But when u r at work...

No ponteng-ponteng coz u r directly under a supervisor who will judge n give u marks (which will determine whether u will pass the subject/not, otherwise u cant graduate)
Imagine u have to clock in (punch card) BEFORE 8am n clock out when u wanna leave the workplace..
[I doubt u will rise so early during ur holidays rite?]
n u can expect "surprise" visit from ur lecturer any time..

Haha..wat kind of holiday is this?

At least after ur exam, u guys can still go for trips overseas/where ever..
Just because of this training, we cant even go for holidays anywhere wif our frens/family..

Still think its unfair?

P/S : Dont be offended with my comments, i speak the truth for myself n my fellow health science school mates. =)

Anyway..good luck in ur coming pro.
