The results for the appealing of hostel places are going to be announced on the 20th of July. All we can do for now is to wait for it patiently. I have been keeping my eyes open for every piece of information i can get around the campus and also went to confirm some of the informations. Here's what I found:
1. A lot of first year students get double rooms.
2. Even though we were told that we were selected according to the merit points, it seems some of the occupants in the Murni hostel weren't active at all. Even vice-presidents of a club is said to be not active enough to get a place in the hostels.
3. I was told that those who represents the hostels for sports are given priority. On the other hand, taking part in activities representing USMKK means nothing. So don't bother to participate as the columns in the forms doesn't even allow u to fill in those activities.
4. For Murni girls, second year students were mostly given double room but the third years girls have to cramp in triple rooms.
5. The Murni office told us that they have to move people out of Murni as there were no more places to stay, but from what I found out, there were people moving in from Nurani and as far as I am concern, those people are less active than most other that were forced out.
6. The office said that the UPPU was poorly prepared due to a problem from the contractors.
7. Students whose names were not inserted in the list to stay in desa got double rooms after going to see Kak Syikin. One of which I know about was a student who failed the finals and came back for another course.
8. There are rumours that there is first year students who got a single room.
9. According to some source, the list for the hostel was changed in the last minute. There are also sources saying that Murni originally have to move 30 students out of Murni only. But due to some certain personal decisions, it became 90. The lateness of the announcement of the list was also said to be due to someone coming late for a meeting.
10. According to the HEP, the rental per day for UPPU is RM3.50. I got a list from the Campus's treasury for the rental fees, and it seems that single rooms cost RM3.10 for the rental.

I was strongly agree with all U said about Murni, actually, I m thinking,stay in Murni, I never elt like I am a mature university student, I m juz a dog/slave belonged to the Queen/Dictator Kak Shikin.
Of course, in the 5 years stay in Murni, we never had a chance to choose where/which room to stay? what type of room, who is our roomate? Each year, it is our beloved Kak show time, meny student will go to her room, beg like a dog to get our basic human needs, just a proper room...Most of us fail, since our skin color a bit too fair. Like in nurani, they can choose room, roomate!Wow, it was juz a luxury that we would never had in Murni. Every year, we are being dump like a rubbish bag, it is our precious gift from our mightly Queen if u r allowed to stay in Hostel. Thank U so much, my QUEEN!
Each year, the name list is announce so late, maybe our Queen need to use a lot of time to think, for example, to move a person from DM X 3rd floor to DM Y 3rd floor, she had to calculated the longest distance for us so that we can exercise efficiently moving our boxes in first day of new semester.
Then, try to squeeze all 3rd year who had to face PRO 2 in triple room, chase out all the final year boy to Quater room in Nurani, since our Professional Exam are so TINY, she had to give more challence to us by providing a really GOOD environment to study...
Each year, our Queen job is show her pride, high status like Prime minister( I think is King of anxient Roman time), chasing away/make fun of student who just want a reasonable explain on why U give me this kind of room?
This year, i feel so sympathize for those who get to stay in UPPU, maybe staying in the cell in prison is much more better, or maybe our QUEEN hallucinating that She is incharged of putting students/prisoners in her own made prison. Sorry for U all.
Being active in sport? not all people had talent in sports...But why actively involved in clubs activities,Convex Exhibition cant have a place in hostel.
So, for those who able to stay in Murni, it was already our havent, don't complain that there was no single pantry in a block ( all is being renovated), they don't expect us to boil water for a hot nescafe for staying up whole night to study, no hot water to cook maggi when there is no food that sold in murni cafe on friday, they expect us to starve together especially during fasting month...Think about friend in prison UPPU,i wonder did they had pantry?
Toilet no water?Dribbing water? Oh, at least U have a toilet to use, think of 48 ppl using 2 toilet in prison UPPU again.
Kelantan is the best place to learn how to survive? espeacially when u live in murni...
Finally, to our dearest Quee, I really wish U to be healthy until end of the year, If u accidentally being admit to ward, i would gurantee that thousands of medical student will try to insert a chest tube into ur spleen.Take care.
If the opponents can take down Penang, Kedah, Kelantan, Perak & Selangor in 308, i m hoping that this miracle happen in Murni, change the admin in Murni!
